It's Cool to be CATHOLIC!
St. John Apostle & Evangelist Catholic Church provides a unified, comprehensive Youth Ministry (CYM), which uses Life Teen resources. Our mission is to lead high school students to the Eucharistic Lord. We hang out, play games, have deep discussions, share snacks, and pray together. Classes are held on Sundays in room 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you are a student in grades 9-12, we would love to see you in the youth group!
Goals of Catholic Youth Ministry
- Goal 1: To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. (Renewing the Vision, p.9)
- Goal 2: To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community. (RTV, p. 11)
- Goal 3: To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person. (RTV, p. 15)
