Women's Guild

St. John Apostle & Evangelist Women's Guild

The Women's Guild has the distinction of being the longest established active organization at St. John.  Beginning at St. John Sodality in 1972, the name was changed to the St. John Women's Guild in 1973.  Today, the primary mission and purpose of the Women's Guild basically remains the same as in 1973, giving the members of the guild many opportunities to share their time, talent and treasure in serving the Lord.  It continues its tradition of promoting fellowship, fun and spiritual growth among the women of the parish, providing outreach in the community to the less fortunate and the sick, providing support to the parish priests by assisting with all parish functions, liturgical events, social events, and celebrations, decorating and cleaning the church, providing clean linens for Eucharistic celebrations, as well as working closely with and in support of other parish members.
