Social Ministry Commission

The goal of the St. John’s Social Ministry Commission is to improve social services and outreach ministries through information sharing/coordination in order to reach more people.

In short, Social Ministry is reaching out, being doers of the word, and working hard to ensure that we are active participants in the Church’s field hospital…healing and being healed.

St. John’s Social Ministry Commission follows the guidance of the Catholic Church as expressed in the Catechism (Part III, Life in Christ, Article 7 (The Virtues), paragraphs 2419 through 2449).

St. John’s Social Ministry Commission is comprised of 10 teams servicing a variety of populations.  Ministry description and more information are included at each team’s tab.  Leaders’ contact information is provided below and at each individual tab.
