Rosary Making Ministry

"Give me an army saying the Rosary and I will conquer the World." -Pope Pius XI

Our world today is full of many faiths and religions, and no matter how one believes, the power of prayer is used by all.  As Catholics, our use of prayer is accompanied by one of the most recognized, but sometimes misunderstood symbols known to the world- the Rosary.  Our mission is simple:  we are a Catholic Christian group inspired to help as many people as we can to pray the Rosary to honor Blessed Mother Mary and to spread the devotion to the Rosary.  To everyone interested, you will be taught how to make a very simple rosary, use and pray the Rosary, and the finished product is your to keep and be part of your Catholic journey.  Materials needed are provided free and you are allowed to attend once or twice so to allow others to participate.  This opportunity to help our fellow parishioners become closer to God and the Blessed Mother through the power of praying the Rosary is part of our own Catholic Journey to be more evangelical, and we pray that your consideration of our ministry will be blessed.  All we ask is that you trust and have faith that the outcome will be according to God's will.  Offered once a month with alternating days of Wednesday and Saturdays.  Schedule will be posted on the bulletin board.

Family Rosary Prayer Group

How many saints can you name?  The Family Rosary Prayer Group gathers every Monday night at 7 p.m. in the Chapel to pray the Rosary with beautifully sung Marian hymns.  The group prayer is followed by a potluck and reflection on our lives of the saints in Room 4.  In addition to weekly prayers and reflection, the Family Rosary Prayer Group promotes First Saturday Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary immediately after the 5 p.m. Mass every first Saturday night of the month.  We are currently looking for families or individuals who are willing to lead a decade of the Rosary once a month.  For questions about our Association of the Faithful, visit www.shway.org or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

"The time you spent with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time that you will spend on Earth.  Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in heaven, and will help bring about and everlasting peace on Earth." - St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Now is your invitation to be with Jesus in Perpetual Adoration each month.  Listen to Him in silence, with prayer; give Him your undivided attention.  Every 1st Friday of the month, Jesus awaits you, from 8:30 am Friday through 7:30 am Saturday.  In order to continue this special 24-hour Adoration, you can help by committing to a one hour slot (2 persons are needed per hour). For more information, please contact the parish office.

Cenacle Prayer Group

We are part of the Marian Movement of Priests formed by Fr. Gobbi at the request of Our Blessed Mother.  She invites us to pray for priests, for the church, and four our own intentions.  She also forms and guides us through messages that she has given to Fr. Gobbi.  We pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m.  We then begin the Cenacle by singing a hymn to the Holy Spirit followed by our intentions.  The Rosary follows, along with other prayers and a Consecration to the Immaculate Hart of Mary.  We read a chapter from the book To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons, followed by a Marian Hymn.  The meeting lasts one hour.  Please join us.  Mary our Mother, invites you.

Rosary

The Rosary Group meets Monday through Saturday, after the 8:00 am Daily Mass in the Church for about an hour.  We pray and meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary, pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet, say the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and other prayers.  We also pray for the names on the prayer line, those names written in the Prayer Intention book, prayer requests from parishioners, for peace in the world, respect for life, and for various other needs.  Other activities include helping the Parish insert notices in our Parish Bulletin weekly.  All are welcome to join us at any time.
